Just spent a weekend there for an anniversary celebration. City Center lodge ensured that everything about our stay was perfect. The staff was friendly and accomodating, the room was cozy and well stocked with everything we needed, and the location literally could not be better. We will be back soon. Thanks to all the staff that helped us :)

Horrible experience.
Very noisy rooms and corridors. Paper walls. I woke up at 5:18 with an awful ventilator noise coming from the room next to mine…
DANGER in case of fire hazard, since it’s a tiny room with only a rooftop window and the only way out being a steep staircase. No elevator, so not at all “luggage friendly”.
Bathroom was dirty and stinky upon arrival. No soap and no towel for the feet after showering.

Very small room with two bunk beds. Not a single chair, or a proper table, or a reachable window or a view. Prison cells are more cozy than this. Bathroom was not really clean and stinks of humidity. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE for a Hotel at this prize…! And they clearly don’t care about client satisfaction.
I have been traveling for years and have to say that the service here was exceptional. The value for money was the best I have seen in a long time and the staff were generally friendly, courteous and helpful.

My son and I stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it. It’s very chic and the rooms are stylish and well equipped. Staff are superb and very helpful. There is bike hire which we made use of as it was shockingly good value. It’s in a great location next to the canal and in the university quarter. Tilt bar across road is very good. Recommended.
Fire hazard? Brandgevaarlijk?We slept on the top floor room 32. You can reach this floor by 2 steep wooden stairs, those stairs are the only way up and down.
The room had 1 flat electrical window 2 meter from the floor. In case of a fire downstairs you have not other option than to face the fire downstairs on the wooden stairs. Although the price is ok and quality is good. We will not return
